Opportunities for Graduate Students
→ One position for a new graduate student is being considered for Fall 2026
If you are interested, please read the following and complete the form below.
- Only domestic (Canadian citizens/residents) applicants will be considered since the Biology Department is over its quota for international applicants.
- You will be considered for the position if you meet all these criteria:
- You have a biology degree (or equivalent) and have taken courses related to molecular biology, and
- You have molecular biology research lab experience (as from an honours thesis, for example) or you have completed a lab tech or related program at the college level, during which you learned molecular biology and/or microbiology techniques, and
- You have a B+ average in the final two years of your undergraduate program.

When positions are available, students interested in applying for graduate student position can contact Emanuel, and should submit applications through the Biology Department Graduate Program application page, indicating in the application that you are interested in our lab. Decisions will be made from March to May for positions starting in September.
